my soon to be mother in law is trying to find a special needs school for her daughter in london e1, but she can't remember the name of the school, and it's quite a way out from where she lives, so it's not easy to just go there. does anyone know any contact details for any special needs schools in the e1 area, or any websites where we might be able to find it ourselves, as i've been looking online, but can't find it as yet. thanks in advance for any answers.

  1. see www.basi-spanish.com

  2. Try contact the local education authority through the county council...they should be able to tell you all the schools in the area...if they are Ofsted registered try going to www.ofsted.gov.uk and type in the Postcode of the area or looking under area names.

    Good Luck

  3. Try the local education authority to find a school they can probably recomend a school thats a main stream school with a special needs unit attached this way they can integrate within a mainstream setting while recieving that extra help they need. It does benefit these children alot. I am currently involved in the integration side and feel the children I work with have gained alot from this and have made friends. It does alot for their social and emotional development.
