I'm only 15 and started playing pool this month.

If I can clean the table (all balls in the pockets) in 2:34, is that good?

  1. No, not at all. A fast player can do it in around a minute or less.

The World record, held by Dave Pearson, is 26.5 seconds.

  2. You've got a long way to go Lefty. Get it down around the 1 minute mark and you're going to make money. I believe the record is 27 seconds.

  3. You may want to set your sights here for speed pool:

  4. hey, I play pool a lot and it's not about the time it takes but if we're talking speed pool you've got 25 seconds per pot and you're saying you potted at least eight which means you would have had 200 seconds or 3:20 so you're certenly on the right track no doubt about that but if you can do it all in one go constantely, then are truelly amazing at the game

  5. That is a good start but the guys winning the competitions are around a minute.

Try to stop the cue ball as much as possible so you can keep taking shot after shot without waiting for the cue ball to stop.

Keep an eye on ESPN and watch the speed pool matches when they come on.
