Speeding ticket court date?

I got a speeding ticket a month ago and my court date to appear in court is in two weeks. Problem is that I already went to school early and I have a summer class and a collegiate soccer game that day. Anyway I can push the court date back?

Call the courthouse and explain your situation.  Let them know the best day and time for you to go.  They may be able to work with you.  Call them ASAP.

They will push your first date off....BUT only once...you will be expected to make the next one.....call the clerks office of the court

Write a letter to the judge or courthouse.  Explain your situation and ask them to reduce your points or fine.  You could also try and call and ask to speak to the judge that would handle your court date.
