Speeding up movies on iMovie?

I have the new iMovie on my mac and can't figure out how to speed up and slow down movie clips....someone help! Thank you!

You can't speed up clips in iMovie '08, or do anything else for that matter. Apple, knowing that they screwed up with this version, has allowed people to download iMovie '06 for free from their site. To adjust clip speed in 06, open the effects tab and find an effect called "fast/slow/reverse" which can accomplish what you want to do. Of course you will need to import the clip you want to edit into iMovie 06. If I were you I would just edit every thing in iMovie 06 and forget about 08.
