Sperm cells extraction & staining

Question

Hi! I need to extract my sperm cells from a cotton swab (for KPIC staining) and am looking for various ways to do it (extracting)... If anyone has any other ways and would like to share it with me I would greatly appreciate it... TQ!!

The best way would be to put the swap in a vial with saline solution in it and then spin it in a centrifuge then take the separated sperm with a syringe and put on a slide and then extract the cells.
