Ron Paul is a libertarian and would never get the support of the social conservatives.  Also, Bob Barr is already running under the libertarian party, so Ron Paul is out.  Nadar is running for the green party as usual.  What the h**l would Hillary run as?

Hillary will be campaigning for Obama, I dont' think Ron Paul will be doing much campaigning.

I think McCain has solved his problems with the base by picking Palin.

Obama is in way over his head---and the DNC knows it. We may see a political revolt before November on that side.

It's rumored that Hillary Clinton is going to take the field after the RNC convention to condemn Palin. She'll have great time doing it. She'll help Obama define Palin as a traitor to the women's movement. Big help, no spoiler.

Those are who I actually would have liked to see running. I hate Obama!!! I respect mcCain though. and since neither one of those, you listed, are running I am voting McCain.Palin!

Hillary is busy campaigning for Obama so she certainly can't be classified as a spoiler in any way shape of form. Ron Paul is gaining popularity and could actually take votes away from McCain. His convention drew 10,000 people this week. I've never listened much to him until this week and I can see is appeal with young Republicans.
