Spring Beak in Tijuana ?

Hey im from australia, some mates and I are heading to Tijuana around early march next year we are all over 18. Whats Spring Break like there ? Is there Spring Break there ?

Any advice or experiences of the area would be greatly appreciated!

Not a safe place to have your spring break..  Please try Cancun.  Do not go to Tijuana for spring break!!

Rosarito Beach is the spring break hot spot. Just a short drive from the border. Tijuana could be a bit dangerous for 18 year old Australians on holiday. We know how you love your beer. Don't drink and drive.

Usually Rosarito is the place where Americans go for the beaches and the clubs.

If you are into partying you can go there.

In Tijuana, tourists always go to Av Revolución to walk and party.

But, in Tijuana, there are other places to eat, drink, and visit.

In the Zona Rio (near the border) there are way much better hotels, restaurants and clubs, where locals go to.

Tijuanenses never go to the tourist zone because usually (not all of them of course) tourists go to Tijuana to get really drunk since they can not do it legally until they are 21 in their own country. They don't have any interest in anything else, just the drinking and the party, and all the bars there have every trick to get them drunk so they are happy, because that's what they want, i'm not judging, just saying what happens.

A lot of tourist also fall into the Red Zone of Tijuana, I don't recommend it.

On weekends locals go to Cantina de Los Remedios in Zona Rio, or Sr. Frogs in Pueblo Amigo (near the border), or La Plaza Fiesta in front of the Tijuana Shopping Center in Zona Rio.

Tijuana is safe like every other city if you are in the safe zones. It depends on your choices.

For the person that recommends Cancun, of course there is no point of comparison, Cancun is the Caribbean, but there is also a lot of partying there and, again, depending on your choices, you could have a great or a terrible time there.

Not usually a huge spring break crowd...but you can have some great fun there. Cheap drinks, orange bud, cool local culture. You'll love it I bet.

I Know this year there was one in Rosarito, they had Pitbull performing there, theres Hotels, Beach, Clubs.....its just a couple minutes from Tijuana(around 20 Minutes)
