  1. The green and Gold. Its not a trend in South Africa to fire coaches and captains when things go bad. Its the way it works in this country. Such a shame.

Consider the fact that they beat the world 1 and 2 on their last outings and suddenly the media puts them under pressure for a game against the Irish.

I believe we lost that match before the time by putting so much pressure on Jake and the boys. Jake has been experimental and its something the rugby public in SA cant handle because it cost us a win or 2. Look at Steyn the guy bacame a hero overnight. Would this have happened if Jake didnt experiment???

He has a strong side and has given himself a lot of depth to choose from.

Wouldnt you agree with me that we are better prepared for WC2007 than we were for WC2003? We have so many new players to choose from and talent that was previously undiscovered.

I dont like John Smit because I dont think he has that presence a captain should have on the field. But lets face it the last few years have been good times in SA Rugby though it could be better we cant say that we arent as good as we were in 2004. Jake White and John Smit go a long way back and that makes it work.

    GO BOKKE

  2. Many people always blame the coach when the team is performing badly, maybe the players should start getting blamed. They are the ones on the playing field not the coach.

  3. i agree with "thatniceguy".jake white has experimented with players in these november tests.you cant keep playing your top players all the time.they inevetibaly get injured and then you need to replace them with equally good players.you need to build up a sqaud of experienced players, hence jake white fielding a younger and less experienced team these past few tests.yes we lost 2 games but think of the benefit ,come world cup 2007.these new guys would have experienced valuable game time in real test match situations.i think jake white knows what he is doing.he is looking ahead.

take the all blacks for example.they can field 2 teams from the players they have available and still beat all opposition.if any team wants to have a realistic chance of winning the webb ellis trophy in 2007 they are going to have to follow suit.

keep jake white and john smit i say.

  4. well i really don't think you can blame white for the players poor performance. he's doing all that he can i think. you must look to the players it's like blaming a teacher for their classes poor results. this seems to be a trend in sa at the moment as soon as a team does badly fire the coach. look at the soccer. but as i've always said rotate the teams. let the cricketers play soccer, rugby play

  5. I say jake and john must go!!!!!!!!
