so , the INDIAN pacers with their awesome performance have restricted SL to 142..........

what are your comments on the game so far.........?

This will be a close game. 142/10 is not a bad score for the Sri Lankans. Their M&M combination can pick up all India's 10 wickets in 20 overs or so. We must not think that the match is finished as yet. The Indian batsmen should do their job and finish the game off.

Edit: Although the Indian bowlers bowled well today, the job is still only half-done. Sri Lankan bowling attack is stronger than that of the Indians so if the Indians can get so many wickets, then so can the Lankans. We must not get overconfident!

A brilliant job done by the Indian fast bowlers, and it was a match winning performance from Zaheer, picking up 4 wickets. Credits to the other Indian bowlers like Praveen  Kumar and Harbhajan Singh as well.

Well, though India needs to take heed of Mendis and Murali, but 142 is quite a convenient total to chase, and India at present, India has put up 73 runs on the board for the loss of 3 wickets. Now, it seems almost certain that India would win this one with ease, though they need to improve their batting for the upcoming matches.

India did well. Could have been better. They allowed a lot of boundaries after 6 down. Fielding can improve.

Well begun is half done. Not taking away any credit from the bowlers, but treading carefully.

Now the other half has to be done. They have to bat well and hold on.

yep(by now we're close to it...its 42/2) but i agree cant say with m and m....cant get over the asia cup final...that one was unbelievable...so anything can happen....hate the fact that our batting is struggling thruhout the tour....our bowlers cant keep doing it cuz thats not our strength

You never know what happens in the Sri Lankan Pitches.

Like India, SL are down but Not Out

SL rested Vass and then everything went wrong

Their Batting Must Improve.

One should notice this point. If any team is chasing 143 they will never dream of loosing 7 wickets. If  this repeates, India Are in troubles.

I think they Should Pick Ganguly or Dravid as Tendulkar is hurt.
