  1. very poor quality , total knockoffs , at this time of year pro shops etc , will be selling used clubs dirt cheap , try used sporting goods stores , newspaper , flea markets , my basement , as a desperate move e bay as last resort . good hunting

  2. no you can tell by the name

  3. The name sounds like something off brand like a starter set. They add a famous golf name like St. Andrews to make them sound fancier than they really are.

This is not the case for these clubs. I am not sure if these are the same clubs you are considering. I visited the website listed below and I think these clubs would be cool to play with. It was not too long ago that I swung an old fashioned wood, the kind with the metal plate on the bottom, screwed in with wood screws. It was a nice club and I hit it about as well as I hit my 5 wood.

It would be classic to have a set of these. They do seem a bit pricey though.

  4. never heard of them

  5. Never heard of them -- and thats saying something

  6. no - do not buy - they sound like a touristy thing!

stick with well known brands such as callaway, ping, titleist etc - may pay a bit more but worth it in the long run.

If you are just starting out its always worth buying second hand set until you know your brands and what suits your style of play

  7. Never heard of them so that's not a good sign.
