Stairglide Help?

My father has a Stairglide ( one of those chairs that moves you up and downs your stairs ) and it is stuck with door. It will not move up or down, and now he cant use it. what should I do?

those are very specialized equipment call the maker and find the nearest repair company to you call them to check the unit
