Stanley Cup Final question..?

Question

Ok, so your favorite team is the stanley cup finals and they have home advantage.

Would you want to sweep and win the cup on the road or would u want to lose a game and then win it at home in 5. If you lose game 5, would you want to lose game 6 as well and win it at home in 7?

iwould like to have them loose it once away and take it at home for 5 i would never want it to go to a game seven beacause in hockey you never know what could happen

I would rather them sweep. The beauty about the Wings/Pens series is that the cities are close enough together that whoever wins will likely have a good amount of fans at the opposing arena if they don't win at home.

Good question ----Twice teams have had 3-0 leads and lost the series, which is a tiny percentage, but if my team had that lead I would still rather they get it over with.  As we saw in the Detroit-Dallas series, and Dallas saw against San Jose, it doesn't take long to go from 3-1 to 3-2.  Is it more fun to win at home?  Sure --- but winning is what matters, and most of us have TVs.

look this can't be a sweep both team have played there hardest and its the reason why its hard to sweep. this series against the detroit red wings will end with a game 7 period.

I would rather win at home in game 5.  When the Devils won the 2000 Cup in Dallas, they got booed.  I wouldn't want my team to get booed after they just won the best trophy in sports history.

Game 7 would be exciting, but scary too.  I wouldn't want the series to drag on that far and scare the living c**p out of me.  But I do want the team to win at home.
