Start Fargas or Turner?

Should I start Justin Fargas or Michael Turner in my football league?

Fargas will probably start out as the #1 RB for Oakland. But, McFadden is going to be used as a 3rd down, goal line, or change-of-pace back.

Atlanta coaches have said they intend on getting Turner about 300 carries this year. That doesn't leave many for Norwood. Then again, Turner hasn't proven that he can handle that kind of workload throughout an entire season (for that matter, neither has Fargas).

I would start Turner and keep an eye on the Fargas/McFadden situation. Also, look at match-ups. If the Raiders play, say, the Chargers, don't expect a lot of yards or points out of Fargas that week.

I would start Turner over Fargas, because Turner has a firm grasp on his team's starting RB spot. Even if Fargas wins the starting job, he's going to lose a LOT of touches to McFadden. Turner has Norwood, to worry about, but apparently the Falcons don't have much faith in him, or they wouldn't have paid millions to Turner to be their starter. So I see it as this: Turner will get about 75% of Atlanta's touches, and Fargas will get 50%, maybe 60%, but then again, maybe less... So it's hard to tell, but I think Turner is the better long term starter.

Fargas is gonna have pressure from McFadden all year and Turner has declared himself the starting spot so i would stick with Turner.
