Starting Boris Diaw?

Hey Suns fans, I heard about this last week either from ESPN or Yahoo sports ( don't remember) that Diaw will start at SF over Grant Hill (who will exercise player's option next season). Is this true?

If so, then good move by Porter. You have a playmaker @ SF who has decent speed, can rebound, and can hit shots. If he starts, then I am sure he will be less Lazy then he used to be, too.

  1. I love Grant Hill, but he shouldn't be starting. He would be perfect off the bench, and he is a humble enough person to accept that. Boris is the man when he isn't playing ball like a 5 yr old child. Starting would boost his confidence and get him in the flow of the game throughout the season. Go Terry Porter on making the right move. I don't miss Mike D at all!!!

  2. I've heard the news. It would be a good move for the Suns. Diaw had an off year last season but i think he could bounce back.

He is better at starting providing versatility (score, rebound, assists) at the small forward position.

  3. Yeah, that sportswriter doesn't know what he is talking about. Here is what the line-up will look like.

    C Shaquille O'Neal / Brian Skinner

PF Amare Stoudemire / Boris Diaw

SF Grant Hill / Matt Barnes

SG Raja Bell / Leandro Barbosa

PG Steve Nash / Leandro Barbosa / DJ Strawberry

  4. Then Diaw will be more active. He can score, rebound and pass. He will become a better player. . .
