Starting acting in Quebec

Question

Hi live in Quebec city and I would like to start acting I have taken a drama class in my school ( I go to an English school) and I really liked it but it was only like 2 times every 9 days. Since I live in Quebec city acting classes are in French. I would prefer to take acting classes in English. I can speak both English en French correctly. Should I take acting classes in French? ( if someone knows acting classes in English in Quebec city please tell me)

La Maison Jaune in Quebec City offers acting classes but are rather expensive, and yes, all in French (as far as I know).

But I heard it was a really good acting school.

Otherwise you could try auditioning to get into the Conservatory in Quebec City but I'm guessing you already need a lot of acting experience beforehand to even be considered.

There is definitely an English-speaking drama club in Quebec City, because I went to see one of their performances at Holland Elementary School about two years ago. Here's the link:

And I wouldn't necessarily cross out the possibility of doing theatre in French...doing it in both languages would actually be an asset for you.
