Statue of Liberty and Laguardia Airport?

Question

I'm flying into Laguardia comming from Atlanta, from a layover there from Kansas. Will I be able to see the Statue of Liberty landing on the runway for the plane?

i doubt it since laguardias in queens. unless you fly past the statue to laguardia.

It depends on what runways are being used at Laguardia, but sometimes, weather permitting, much of New York is visible while in the landing pattern prior to landing. There is just no way to tell in advance. However, if you can, get a window seat on the left (A seat) side and hope for the best.
