Stereo for Bicycle?

I am looking to find some type of EXTERNAL speakers that would hook up to my ipod that are small/light in size yet still listenable at around 20mph. I ride my bike competitively but it is extremely dangerous to ride my bike with earplugs in and still don't want to lose ability of hearing around my surrounds.

I am riding a road bike so i dont want anything that would weigh me down just some simple speakers that can plug into the audio jack of an ipod.

So, you are gonna duct tape these to your handlebars or something?   Please include a photo when you do.     I'd suggest you get a helmet with speakers built in(Several models out there); that way you can hear the surroundings and the rock and roll as you ride....
