Stickers on my drumset?

Will putting stickers on my drumset mess with the sound?

No. Not enough that even a trained ear would be able to tell the difference. In fact, that is how most graphics are put on drums.

On the sides, probably not significantly affect the sound, on the skins, yes will muffle the sound.

If you paid a lot of money for the drums then probably best to avoid stickers that can't be removed. You could look for ones that are held with static rather than glue.
