Hayes Corporation has $300 million of common equity 6 million shares of common stock outstanding. If Hayes' Market Value Added (MVA) is $162 million, what is the company's stock price?

  1. Adding value and the stock price are not necessarily linked. The company's stock price is what the market determines it is. You may use your added valuation to figure a hypothetical fair market value, but that is not a literal indicator of it's price.


  2. Thje stock price depends only on what people are willing to pay at that moment in time.  The value of a company is an illusion

  3. WHAT EVER two people want it to be. It is called the free market, capitalism.

  4. I don't know. The stock price is based on what people are willing to pay and the multiple times the EPS. Does that information get you that information?
