Stores closed 24-28 dec ?

Hi!

I'm thinking of getting a last minute ticket to Barcelona and I was wondering if the stores are open during 24-28 dec. If they are, what time do they open and what time close?

Where I live in Andalucia everything closes just for the 25th December. Most stores here open 10am until about 9pm. The traditional Spanish Christmas is the 6th January (Los tres Reyes).

The stores here in Catalunya are closed for Christmas and the 26th of december since its a holiday, St. Esteban and its huge.. The 27th and 28th the malls and stores are open from 10-10 and boutiques usually open from 10-2 and reopen from 5-9 or 10 depending on where you go..

Have a nice time but try to not come on the days that everything is closed like the 25th and 26th..

Stores close for Xmas Day, 25th December, and on 1st Jan, 6th Jan and some on 7th Jan. There is no "Boxing Day" here, and the sales start in January causing massive shopping!

In the country districts of Andalucia you can find small village supermarkets open every day except Xmas Day.
