  1. Pick a dry spot in your garden and dig a hole . Line this with straw . Place potatoes in and cover with some more straw / Fill in rest with soil . Mark spot and when you dig them up in a few months time they will be in perfect condition . IF you decide to store in a shed make sure there is no neon lighting as this turns the potatoes green .. Enjoy

  2. Keep them sealed in a plastic bag, then in a cool, dark place.  Fridge is ideal if you have the room.  If not, why not pass them around your neighbours as a trade. I'd love some homegrown spuds.  lol.

  3. loose dry and dark

  4. Keep them in the dark, not in a plastic bag which makes them sweat and turn mouldy. A cloth or thick brown bag is best.

I cover the ones in my vegetable rack with a dishcloth so the light cant get to them.

  5. Wash thoroughly.  Leave out in open air 24 hrs to toughen skins for storage.  Store in a cool dark area.
