Strange duck in my yard.?

Question

ok there's this duck that makes coming to my back patio every day as part of his routine. i never give him any food but he keeps coming back. i've never seen one that looked like him before. he has black and gray feathers, dark eyes, and pink around his eyes and nose like a pair of pink glasses. his beak is black too. i think he may be sick. i threw a piece of bread to him from inside my house (just in case) and he ate it so fast so i think he's been starving. has anyone seen a duck that looks like him before?

Sounds like a muscovy duck,common to florida ponds lakes.But are probally all over the country.

i forget what there called but they r as ugly as homemade sin. but thats the way their suppose to be. theirs probably noting wrong he's just making his rounds looking for grasshoppers and stuff. their just ugly. he probably belongs to s/o most r pets.

You could google it under ducks in the wild.  Or wild ducks.  Sounds like he needs food.  But, birds do gobble the bread if you give it to them.  You are being kind to the duck.  He will eventually leave.  It could be a "she" and has a nest in your backyard someplace.

its probably a muscovy duck and its not sick, thats the way their nose/beak looks, i think their cute x3 ....maybe he wants to be your pet if he comes to ur patio everyday
