i went to the town next door to my town (where my mum was born), i dont go there very often as in the town centre i get weird things happening. THe last time i was there, i felt a weird feeling, it is a small old town in the uk, and as i was with my sisiter and my neice sitting outside at a cafe table i looked up and i saw everything as it was in voctorian times, i heard music saw ladies in victorian dress and the hustle and bustle of a busy victorian market. I always have odd sensations when i visit this place. Anyone had experiences like this?

  1. Hello Lisa

    In Kent here - waves

What you experienced was a bit like a bubble of energy, a time imprint. You are obviously open to such things.

  2. no but tell me what you are taking and I will try some...lol...

  3. Yes. Whenever I go to the Essex town of Thaxted I am drawn to the church. When in I am further drawn to a bust of an old vicar of the church. One time, as I was looking at him reality seed to shift. I was aware that everyone around me was dressed in Victorian clothes. I was snapped out of it by a friend talking to me. I'll never forget it.

  4. haha, my guess is that your either making it up, or were hallucinating.

I suppose it could be caused by narcilepsy or something like that, but if I was going to put my money down, I would put it down on making it up.

You probably saw this in a movie, and decided it would make a cute story to lure people in on yahoo answers.

Sorry, im not going to fall for it. Good luck selling your book.

  5. You will have to stop taking those little yellow tablets.

    .

  6. Was it Rochester?

They have Dickens festivals there quite a bit where the whole town goes victorian. Music, dress, the works

  7. I was walking my dog one night and I saw a horse and buggy coming down the street at me.When it got beside me, it disappeared. I can walk through an old neighborhood and tell you which house was the original one. I saw an Indian  maiden and her beau, one sitting , one laying beside the water. I lost a job for bogus reasons, and I think it was because co-workers and I were talking about this stuff once, and I know management found out. I think they thought I was crazy. Be careful who you talk about it with. It can get you into trouble.I've turned it off now.

  8. no i never had an experience like that but thats not even a big deal so dont pay any mind to that

  9. Aha - the time bubble theory. Yes I go with this one too.

I feel that you are what is termed a "sensitive" - I am one too. - Sort of psychic but not in the same way.

It is likely to happen more if you let it - and you want to. You cannot come to any harm, and people won't interact with you.

It can be very exiting - and lead you to investigate further.

I get mini-clips of past events too - one of which was of victorian ladies playing tennis on a lawn of an old house - fully dressed in long skirts!

Also of two boys playing cricket in flannels - and breaking a window. When I looked at that window(sash windows - made of many panes) I saw it had been replaced with newer glass - but judjing by the cracked putty - still over 60 years ago.

I also whitnessed primitive dentistry and surgery in a coffee shop - looking like it was at least 100years ago. I did research on the place and found it had been a surgeon-dentists in 1853. There were no anaesthetics then which explains why the guy was restrained. I found existing relatives in the US who were amazed by this - and loved the photo's of the old place where their great great grandfather worked.

  10. Sometimes, like last night. if im awake too long or fast for a while, or eat lots of sugar quickly i sort of see things. but its like seeing what my eyes see then seeing dreams on top of it. I live next to a river and it was like 4am and i was brushing my teeth looking out my window and somithing drifted down the river. I 'saw' a black canoe, just gliding by an i could only see vaguely - it was dark obv. - so maybe thats what it was.

  11. What you experienced is known in the world of parapsychology as retrocognition (link below).

Perhaps the most famous example of this is known as the Versailles adventure (link below)
