Stress and pressure overload?

I need help dealing with pressure and stress??

I go to a really good private school and it is so competive to be the best.I find myself striving for perfection in everything straight A's co-curricular activities, being a school leader on my social life and i need help or ideas to help you deal with stress from demanding parents, teachers and friends.

please don't just say relax, for i can't because i need to go to yale or cornell to do medicine and i wont be able to without good grades.

I also can't disapoint my parents or myself

HELP!!!!!!

  1. It seems like most of the pressure is coming from your parents and teachers, not from your schoolwork. Concentrate on making the most of your schoolwork: this is the useful stuff that will give you a good grounding to take part in society fully later in life.

    Enjoy your school subjects. Even if there are subjects you don't like right now, make an effort to find something about them that you love. Makes it much easier to get enthusiastic about learning about them, and enthusiasm makes you more likely to succeed.

    In the meantime, eat healthilly and make sure you get enough sleep - these both affect a person's stress levels. And try meditation, yoga, t'ai chi or the like whenever you have a few minutes free. Any problems, talk to your friends for support. ;-)

    or u can find something interesting to do that u realy like (a hobby) to do beside ur hard boring study so there will be a balance between ur hard work and relaxation
