Hello, I recently borrowed Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel without a pulse. The game installed fine and everything seemed fine til about 5 minutes into playing where I started getting REALLY choppy to the point of being d**n near impossible to play. My PC can run Crysis on its low settings and I have WELL beyond the recommended specs for this game. I have searched for patches but when I attempt to install it says "Failed" and under reason it says "catastrophic failure" I dont get it. When the game gets really choppy and I look at my task manager under performance it says stubbs is using 1.54gigs of ram!!!??? Theres something definately wrong but I dont know how to fix it. Any Ideas?

PC specs are:

AMD Athlon(tm)64 X2 Dual Core 5200+ 2.60ghz

2 gigs of ram

250gig HD

ATI Radeon X1300PRO 256mb vid card

Also I am on Vista home premium 32 bit edition.. but please dont say "Its because you have Vista ha ha ha" Thats usually the reply when someone says they have vista installed.

Id appreciate any help with this

Thank you

  1. I have vista as well and i love it... but i am afraid to say that is what is probably doing it.  It wont let me run alot of older games on it.
