Stuck on baby boys names?

Question

Im having a baby boy, he's due dec 4th, i can't wait, but im really stuck on picking a name, its difficult to choose a boys name. Has anyone got any suggestions. I dont really like common names, im looking for rare but nice names.

When you say "rare" do you mean names that are not like "John", "Matthew", or "Andrew"? Or names that are not "Caden", "Aiden" or "Braden"? These names have different trends. The first group are the "classic" names and are definetely "common" but it depends what kind of names you define as "rare". Some less common names that are nice are for example:

If you want really what I call "strange" names go with: Stone, Stormy, Raze, Blaze, Night, Nite, Rocket, Norbin, Coe (yea that one you can think of many names that rhyme with that), Dade, Hade, Idle (seriously), Jazz, Rave, Timber...YOU CAN FIND ALL THESE NAMES ON THE NET! I do not recommend naming your son any of these names as they do not sound like the parent choosing the name really thought them through and just wanted to be "cute"....poor kid...anyway, good luck and hope you like any of the ones I actually think are good "rare" names!

Before we knew we were having a girl I liked the names Braden or Braxton. Google "Baby Name Wizard" and there's a website that allows you to pick a 1st letter you like or just select the boy name box and you can see any name you can the think of. You can also google "social security baby names" and go to the social security website- it will give you a top 100 list of names (for each year) that are popular over the last 100 years or so and maybe you can look towards the bottom of those lists and see what is out there.

i felt exactly the same didn't want a john ,peter,paul or steven all nice don't get me wrong  but wanted something a bit unusual but not weird didn't want him to get picked on went for jared oliver a few friends have had boys with nice names don't know if you will like them kaden,owen, ashton,aiden,bailey, jackson none are too weird but not too common i wanted diesel hated it at first but really grew on me but his daddy wouldn't let me hope i helped a little maybe an idea or two
