I've approached this problem in many ways and can't figure out how to verify it.

TanX + SecX = CosX/(1-SinX)

    why would a teacher give you that problem?

    sinx/cosx + 1/cosx

    (sinx+1)/cosx

    cosx(sinx+1) / cos²x

    cosx(sinx+1) / (1-sin²x)

    cosx(sin+1) / [(1+sinx) (1-sinx)]

    cosx/(1-sinx)
