Question:

Student Exchange to England?

I live in Florida, USA and am a sophomore/10th-grader currently in high school.

I'd like to go to London or somewhere in the UK during the summer to really immerse myself in the culture. The problem is, my family doesn't exactly have a lot of money.

Is there some kind of program that I could look into that would set me up with a family overseas that is also relatively inexpensive or offers financial aid? I don't think my family would be comfortable bringing in someone else, but if anyone can help me more or less with what I'm looking for, I'd greatly appreciate it.

  1. well hello, I would suggest for you to go, look up Rotary , youth exchanges

Other then it is for a year not a summer, but it is most likely to be cheaper for a year with rotary then a summer with a different program

Rotary is a safe and fun program and all's you have to pay is your plane ticket then when you get to your host country they actually pay you, around 120$$ a month!!!

I know this because i hosted a exchange student for that program ,but If you use rotary then you don't have to bring someone else in you home if you don't want to! and I know they are one of the most inexpensive programs because I am looking for a program that  my firend & I can  go to australia for a year together, we would do rotary other then they won't send two people to the same city! I live in canada and i'm in my 10th year too! so maybe if you hear of any programs that help me you can e-mail me one day lol

                                                   Thanks
