Stupid question about a hamster name?

Question

I currently have 3 hamsters. As of tomorrow morning I will have six (my friends are giving me some baby hamsters of theirs). I used to have a hamster with the name Leo, he was my very favorite hamster ever but he died of a heart attack, and I kind of want to name one of them Leo. would it be wrong, or like replacing my best hamster ever, to name one of my new guys with the same name as him?

no it wouldnt be wrong it would kinda be a little reminder of ur old hamster leo i dont think its wrong at all its not like ur replacing him in ur heart its just a name u like to use i used to have a goat named Bam and he got a very rare disease and died and when my goat had her babies i named one little bam as a tribute to him so i think it would be the same for u i dont think its wrong at all ull always love leo number one and u could always call the new hamster little leo so its not exactly the same

i had a dog named brew-zer and he got hit by a car and i always told myself that someday i would have another dog named brew-zer and now i have one xD

It wouldn't be wrong, it would be honoring his memory, and letting him know that you have not forgotten him, and never will.

you could call him Leo II. so it's in memory of Leo I but not necesarily replacing him

or leo jr.

Naming your new hamster Leo is perfectly ok. How many times do you hear someone say I was named after so and so?  My middle name is in honor of an aunt who died before I was born.

I would name my hamster something close to Leo but not the name itself. It would remind me too much of him.
