Submitting for union roles?

i'm non-union and have never done union work, can i still submit to union (SAG) roles on actorsacces.com? or is it just a waste of time to do that?

  1. No, must, be Union Member.


  2. No, you don't have to be a union member unless the breakdown specifically states "Union members only" (or something similar to that).

    However, if you book the job, there's a possibility that you will have to join the union, which can cost a lot of money to do. Also, some people think that you shouldn't join SAG right away, so that you can still do non-union work. These are just some things to think about when you're submitting yourself for a union job.

  3. Only what is defined as 'extra' work, sometimes. Standing in the back round, or walking through a scene. Any thing along the lines of a speaking or credited part, you generally require a SAG card.
