  1. Hi brother.

Pay depends where u work. But it's minimum wage or something quite close to it.

I heard negative things about working there.

Here are two comments of other Y!Answers users:

1-In Cali it's also minimum wage . The bad thing about Subway is that the owners are VERY cheap. They want you to take care of their store and devote your life to it, yet they pay you nothing and always want MORE. They act like they never make any money and it's c**p. I worked there for almost 2 1/2 years, as a general manager, and never made more than 2 dollars more an hour than any other employee there. I learned a lot but finally realized that I was busting my butt and stressing myself out for barely making ends meat. So long Subway! =)

2- When I started a year ago it was $5.75. My boss pays minimum wage(recently went up so you would get more) plus like $.25 so they can say their starting wage is better than McDonalds. The owners are cheap and after a year I am only getting $7 and hate my job. My suggestion is to get a job somewhere else.

I not saying don't take the job cause we all need money and u are going to learn stuff, but be aware. Best thing is to take it as a temporary job while u find something better. Chances are u are going to get tired of the sandwiches and customers at some point.
