  1. Good idea... You don't want to try to force a bass out of speakers... They'll eventually rip or however you want to say it...

You can get a real good sub with 100 dollars but the problem is you need an amp to back it up too which will cost more money...

  2. Need a line output converter to convert stock speaker output wires into RCA outputs ($20 at Wally World).  Need an amplifier at least 300 watts.  (Flea Market perhaps for a used one..tag sale).  Need either a subwoofer or couple of 6x9's in a sealed enclosure.  You can just forget the $100 bucks unless you're getting some of this stuff for free from a friend.

You need a budget of at least $225 for it to sound anything other than sh*tty.

Actually...it's gonna sound sh*tty no matter what....buy a new car....save up and buy some good sh*t.

  3. when it comes to car audio you always get what you pay for and removing and replacing broken blown equipment is not fun and it cost more than money- time also

its going to be impossible to get a setup under $100, you will spend at least $15 on a "line output converter" to give you a set of RCA outputs for the radio

you then need power/ground wires, remote wire and RCA cables and an in-line fuse

    plus the cost of installation

if you find a sub under $50 you still would need an amp to power it

  4. hahah crutchfield.com has the worst prices. look on craigslist.com and see if you can buy somthing used theres always a good deal on there.

    check out

    hifisoundconnection.com or

p.s. i got my first system for 100 bux on craigslist and it was 2 12' kickers with a kenwood amp. it pounded, theres good deal out there just keep you eyes open

  5. Go to crutchfield.com Best prices and they answer any questions you have for the do it yourself method too.
