  1. computer needs to have a subwoofer output.  subwoofer needs a power source, however most computer speaker systems use the headphone output, and the subwoofer has a built in crossover and power amp. if this is the case,  just plug the green 3.5mm cord into the headphone output on the computer, make sure the speaker system is set up properly

  2. i thought u were good at coms.

  3. If the subwoofer has a built in cross over as most computer models do!

then you plug it in as already said to your headphone/line out from computer. or you can get a 1/8 inch to dual rca cable at any radio

shack or walmart as well. plug the 1/8in side into your computer headphone/lineout and the dual rca into your home stereo system

and then you can play all your audio from your computer on your standard stereo system. I use this technique very often and works very well as long as you have a quality stereo receiver with quality preamps then your golden! and by the way their is no such thing as incompatibility

with analog audio speakers so that is not the problem.
