Suggest a laptop/notebook for me?

i'm 13 and my parents are going to buy me a laptop but i can't decide which one

i want to use it for school,surfing the web,and play games like Battlefield 2(PC game),Maplestory(online game),etc

can anyone suggest a good one that isn't too expensive

not more than 1,200$,has wireless internet

A Dell or a Macbook. My brother's have them and they're pretty good.

Dell is usually really good.  Sony is over priced and uses proprietary hardware.  Which means expensive repairs.  I hear acer is great too.
