Suggestions for a dress??

Question

This is going to be a slightly long question so hang in there.My prom isnt for 9 months(its not even my prom i wasnt able to go to mine so my friend is takeing me to hers) but Davids Bridal is having a huge sale so Im thinking about buying my dress now while its cheap.First about me im about 5 foot 5 and weigh about 200 pounds ( i look skinnier though), i wear a size 16 sometimes a size 14.I have red hair and am slighlty pale.These are the dresses that I like :

The 4th one is goregous

The first one would wash you out too much and seems too frumpy for prom.....

The second one is pretty but seems to plain for prom and doesn't have the pretty neckline the fourth one does...

I think the 3rd one is ugly, but that's just my opinion....

you really need to lose about 80 pounds before you consider buying a dress.  how could a girl your age allow herself to become so disgusting?

All of the dresses are bridesmaids dresses. In my opinion they look a little.. dated for prom. Try going to www.davidsprom.com/dresses.jsp

The styles and colors are more for prom than bridesmaids dresses. But that's just my opinion. The only dress I liked was the first link but if you are pale the color would just wash you out. They have the same style but in much better colors here www.davidsprom.com/dresses_detail.jsp?i=...

Also, DO NOT buy your dress online. It's okay to look for a ideas for when you go to the store but DON'T buy it until you have tried it on.

None of those links work.

But I would recommend buying in 9 months. What if you lose weight, or change your mind about the dress, or the dress doesn't fit the theme, or something else happens. I wouldn't buy to soon. There are places that have cheaper dresses year-round.

The links are not working, but I would suggest the first one, because unless it's the same color as your skin, it should be okay. You don't want to try to lose weight to fit into a dress, and you don't want something that's too showy or you're not sure about.
