Suggestions for songs please

i need any suggestions i can get. i need to find music for my wedding. a song to walk down the isle to, a first song as man and wife to walk back down the isle to, a first dance song, and some music to play at the reception (nothing to crazy for the reception though cuz of the people we are inviting)

I will share what we did at my wedding - I walked down the aisle to the Ave Maria and we walked back up the aisle to Canon D (very popular!). We were announced at the reception to I'm a Believer(Smashmouth) and we danced our first dance to You're My Home (Billy Joel). At Last by Etta James is also a beautiful wedding song. Good Luck!

If you are having a church wedding there may be some restrictions on the type of music you can choose for you ceremony. The best thing to do is to talk to your musicians for suggestions. You also want to make sure you choose songs they are familiar with.

Your DJ should know the perfect mix of music for your reception.

The song my husband and I danced to for our first dance was a song that we heard on our first date and both liked. You might want to choose something like that- that's sentimental. :) Our's was "Collide" by Howie Day.

Our first dance was Everything by Michael Buble.  LOVE it!!!  I also like Lost in this moment by Big & Rich.  That was my 2nd choice, but my husband really like Everything (and it was appropriate for us) so we went with that one.  The best part for us is the chorus:

Well let me share with you what ours was:

The bridal party walked down to: Somewhere over the rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, I walked down to Canon in D. We walked back down the aisle to Edwin McCain's I could not ask for more. We got annouced to Starship's Nothing can stop us now (from Mannequin, we love the movie!) and our first dance sang was You and Me by Lifehouse. Than you have the father daughter dances: Have I told you lately and Forever Young both by Rod Stewart
