Summer programs?

Question

I'm a junior in high school at the moment, and I've been in search of something I could do in the summer that would help me grow as a student or help me gain valuable insight on a certain field of work (career-wise.)

I've volunteered at the local hospital, and that has been amazing, but I feel like I should do something more outstanding so that colleges can see that I am eager to learn and experience. Which I am.

I had in mind something that would look into the liberal sciences or medical fields, as I am very much interested in them.

If you are bi-bilingual you can volunteer at (Almavision) channel 57, Spanish christian television network, they always need volunteers to answer the phones, take pledges, or help out with the television network, they are located in downtown Los Angeles, on central st between olympic and 7th st.
