Summer snowboard setup help???????

Question

I am looking into building a backyard snowboard setup. something with maybe turf, and a drop in made out of wood, with a flat box. DOes anyone have any pictures,videos, plans or comments. Also i wouldnt want it to cost alot . Details please . I want to get building soon and i need all the help i can get.

If your building a backyard set up id recommend using Dendex or Snowflex rather than Astroturf as it will be kinder to your board and to you if you fall. Also you will have more control as both those surfaces are basically snow substitute wheres turf isent. As for plans for boxes, rails, jumps etc check out some skateboard sites they usually have plans for building that type of thing. Good luck.

i hav no idea what turf or ne that stuff costs

drop-in can get a little pricey but depends on how big of one you need (if you have a hill you might not even need one) and also depends on what you consider alot of $

box can be cheap or free, just look for stuff laying around

good surface is countertop, or ne thing slippery like tht, metal will make it like a rail

the actual stuff is hdpe (i think thts wrong( btu its like $200 for a 2x4 sheet a 1/4 inch thick
