Hey thanks for reading anyway I got a double parking summons (completely stupid if you ask me f*in idiots anyways...) I was driving my dads truck and double parked in the back in a corner a good 50-60ft from the nearest car, and they summoned me, but all I have to do is pay 29.00 bucks but can I pay and then not go to court, will it go on my record or his

  1. It will go on his record, not yours, it won't raise your insurance or his since it's not a moving violation of any kind.  It's basically a nothing ticket..............it wouldn't really even show on his record since they can't attach it to anyone's driving record since they wouldn't be able to prove who drove the truck.  It's a simple ticket and 29 bucks is cheap compared to some places.

  2. depends on your dad whether or not he will mad.  parking cites are non moving violations therefore do not have an impact on your driving record or insurance.  the vehicle owner is usually the one cited unless you were with the vehicle at the time of the violation.

  3. Why is it completely stupid that you got a double parking summons, when you double parked?  It's unlucky for you, sure, but you had to have known it was a possibility, right?

  4. If you personally were ticketed, as in it was given to you after an officer requested your license, it will be on your record.

But if it was a parking ticket left on the truck, it will go to your dad, the truck is registered to him.

    I doubt he'll be happy!

It shouldn't effect his insurance, wasn't a moving violation.
