Surfing, cornwall?

helloo people, i'm camping in holywell in 23 days for two weeks with friends, i've just got some questions to ask..

-What's holywell like, shops etc

-how good of a surf is holywell bay?

-is there a bus to newquay town centre from holywell?

and im a good surfer, i want to rent a different board than what i normally do (foamie)

any suggestions??

  1. alright mate , well i go to newquay every year, in fact Ive just gt bk yesterday from there. hollywells pretty small. just a few shops that sell beach stuff n ice cream etc n surf is average, nothing great its pretty pebbly in the sea on the floor as well, best surf is at fistral and at towan *that's the other beach in newquay town center* its the beach that has that amazing house on its own island. there your best bets for good surf. n there are regular buses into newquay from hollywell, so dont worry.

    when i ws there some days the surf ws really good sum days n flat the next.

    n yeah get a long board or its also called a Malibu board, its long and has a rounded end with usually 1 fin n these are still nice and steady bt you can maneuver them a bit better than a foamie. enjoy the surf.
