My boyfriend and I just got engaged not to long ago and we have been living together for a long time. He is a Marine and he takes such good care of me. He always makes dinner because I am not a good cook at all!!! One night when he gets home from work I would really like to have a nice dinner made up for him. Anyone have nice simple ideas for me?

  1. hot dogs

  2. Lasagna is always impressive.  And now they have noodles you don't have to cook first.  The brand is barilla and the recipe is right on the back of the box, it is delicious and easy.  The hardest thing is the assembly.  You could  have garlic bread and a nice salad to go with it.  I make it all the time and my husband, who is in the air force, loves it.

  3. call a resturant buy the dinner and plate it

    enjoy congrads

  4. order pizza and say you made it! then just worry about what your gonna wear,

he'll think thats more important anyway.

  5. THIS IS IT!

go to www.GOURMETOPIA.com and order stuff as a tasting.

s**y, romantic stuff like..smoked salmon, creme friache, caviar and crackers and get some wine.

I did this for my wife and she went CRAZY.

    Trying totally different things.

The customer service was great and the product was shipped out so fast. I can't wait to order from them again.

Fun stuff. oh yea, the belgian chocolates kicked ***.

She fell in love with me again for trying something so cool and diff.

  6. Try making a nice salad! Yummeh!

Also, this is one of my faves, you make it in the microwave.. even though the picture makes it look gross. =D

Also, Jello's pretty easy to make, just get the instant stuff and add some real fruit into it... I like orange jello with mandarin oranges. Fruit salad works too!

    Hope that helps!

  7. Congratulations on your engagement!  I read the suggestions already on there and a nice lasagna is very easy to make.  You could make a spinach lasagna or a turkey lasagna.  Both are excellent and a bit more healthy than beef lasagna.  Check out www.foodnetwork.com and look at their recipes.  You can type in pretty much anything in the recipe search engine and find a recipe AND it will tell you if it's easy, intermediate or hard to make.  Go for the ones with the high star ratings.  Serve garlic bread with the lasagna. You can buy garlic bread that all you have to do is put it in the oven and turn the stove on.  It can stay in the bag and everything.  Maybe make a salad to go with it too (with romaine lettuce, chopped onion, tomatoes, and cheese). Oh...and you could make the Pillsbury easy bake cookies.  You just cut them, put them on a cooking sheet and pop them in the oven!  Good luck!

  8. First off, congratulations. :o)

I'm not too sure about what type of meal you want to cook, but you can try www.kraftfoods.com, or www.allrecipes.com for some easy recipes. I got better at cooking using those sites since alot of the recipes were pretty easy. Just put aside some freetime and experiment around with some recipes. That's pretty much a good way to get better. Like I said it helped me. Go for easy ingredient recipes and work up from there. Hope that was some help.

  9. Well you can make him something like a Thanksgiving meal like turkey ,ham, rice spam, massed potatoes  ,baked potatoes ,stake ,beans whatever he likes good luck!

  10. i would get two really nice filet mignon or maybe ribeye steak

    baked potatoes, fresh salad

chocolate cake with berries on the side

sparkling wine or cider or his favorite brew (or both)
