It is incomplete and requires a proprietary DVD/Receiver combo to work properly.

Needed is specifically a LFE amplification channel. Most receivers can not do this.

there are no watts in the system for sale.   it has no amp or reciever to power the speakers, which supplies the wattage for the speakers.  you would need to purchase this in order to use these speakers.  That said, theres aren't really great speakers by any means, but i guess your getting about what you pay for.
