I have a JVC MX J800 stereo system and it says in the manual that it can be used for Dolby Surround Sound. I know how to configure it on the stereo but How do I connect it to a TV? or to my PS3? so i can watch and play with surround sound?

  1. The JVC MX J800 is not a true surround sound system.  Because of this you have to connect everything to your tv screen via HDMI, AV wires etc... and then run two wires like the White and Red from your TV Audio out to the Auxilary audio in ports on the JVC reciever.  What ever plays through your tv will play through your JVC system.
