Surround sound trouble?

Using a Samsung avr610 amp. I'm running a single line from the pc that splits into 2 rca plugs (left and right)

I f I set it to stereo I get sound from the left and right speakers (front only) and the sub. When I set it to Pro logic II all the speakers work but the sub stops, why?

Any ideas how to get full 5.1.

Sounds like you have the wrong settings in Pro logic. Get the system in pro logic and set it up

I can't find your manual online but you probably have the sub turned off or down in one of the receivers menus. Check through the menus and see if it has a sub output setting on any of them.

With the additional info, it sounds like the amp is not decoding the signal correctly. If you've already tried several discs then I think you need to take the receiver in for repair. It could just be that the disc was encoded poorly so try another one first.
