Survival techniques?

If I was dying of dehydration on a dessert island and it started to rain, how many raindrops would i need to catch on my tongue in order to survive?

1 drop. In Marine Corp Survivor training, we used plastic sheet in the desert. Then wait for it to condensate from the sun, and was able to get a drop that kept me going until was able to produce another.
