Suspicious suitcase?

My dad that I don't talk to very often at all since I was born, nor do I even live close to him...anyway he sent me this suitcase a few weeks ago because I told him I was going away for the winter in Canada. Its a pretty sweet suitcase, has a combination lock, looks nice, came with a carry on bag inside of it,etc...better than my older one. Anyway there was some stuff left in it, some of it was his but then I found this wallet with 2 people's permanent resident and their social security cards. I have no idea who they are so I was kinda wondering if he either found these suitcases, stole them, or maybe found the wallet...since well you don't just give these items to anyone. I tried to call him and the people to ask about it but got no answer. Anyway I'm leaving in a few weeks and was wondering if you guys think its ok to use the suitcase? And if I do should I clean it out and make sure theres nothing "illegal" in them, (drugs etc)? How should I go about doing this besides just feeling the insides to see if anything is in there? Guess I'm a little paranoid about it since I don't want to get in trouble when visiting Canada, since I plan on moving there soon.

  1. Maybe your dad bought the suitcase at a yard sale or something and the owners left the wallet in it?  Definitely go over the suitcase and make sure there's nothing hinky about it.  You could always turn the wallet & contents over to the police and say you found them.

  2. Clean out the suitcase and bag.Mail the people back thier cards and such.If truly paranoid go to the police with everything.
