Question:

Suzuki RM 125 Oil tank?

I own an 86 suzuki RM 125 and I need to know if they have an oil tank for mixing 2 stroke oil with gas in the carb. It does not have one attached but it has another place to attach a hose on the bottom of the carb, and there is fuel leaking from it. Does it use a separate tank for mixing?

  1. Try turning off the "gas" when not in use.

Son has a rm60 that will leak the entire contents of the fuel tank if he forgets to shut the gas off when done riding. When upright it won't leak but once on it's kick stand it will.

You are better off to just mix your gas, oil injection systems can fail and cause costly damage to your bike.

  2. Yeah that is for the over flow, your float or needel is warn out/stuck, pull your carb apart and get a carb re-build kit and check you needle and float, and also its a mix of 32:1 and mix your fuel with it then just dump it in your tank

  3. the hose on the bottom of the carb is an over-flow,if its leaking, your float is stuck/needle valve is defective, clean the carb,if no oil pot attatched, just mix your gas/oil in the gas tank
