Svetlana Khorkina or Anastasia Liukin?

Ok, forget about this stupid China vs. USA c**p. I am glad people are satisfied with their petty vengeance.

Anyhow... Nastia just an incredible (memorable if no less) floor performance...

However, would you rank her up there with Svetlana Khorkina who was one of the all time great for this performance?

Khorkina should have won the gold, even Pavlova. I dont know why Americans whine a lot but those Russian girls I think deserve it more.

In terms of personality, Svetlana Khorkina is the undefeated queen.

i don't know. svetlana has multiple world all around championships under her belt, and three olympic appearances. i think nastia is great, but svetlana is far more decorated. if nastia continues to compete, she will go down as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, but even then, i think svetlana is in a league of her own. she is the only woman in history to have a skill named after her on every apparatus, and like half the skills in her bar routine were named after her.

I don't think that Nastia could be where she is without Svetlana.  Khorkina was so tall that she had to invent moves on the uneven bars, and I think that Nastia has a similar style being that she has a similar body type.  I prefer liukin cause she's not cocky, but she definitely couldn't be where she is where it not for Svetlana.

Anastasia Liukin may be more recognized as Nastia Liukin. I LOVED the Russian on the floor though! They were incredible.

Both Nastia and Svetlana are awesome.. Nastia put it all on the floor . U.S. going 1-2 was well deserved. (i am kind of over the ' you american"responses though.)
