Sweet 16 Food Help!?...?

I'm trying 2 figure out what food i want to have at my sweet 16 party. My mom is going 2 make it all. I really want 2 have yummy food that is also attractive. Not the usual kind of food like pizza and what not. Like cute little orderves, but things that teens would like. I don't need dessert ideas just like dinner and little things 2 nibble on. THANKSS

What about some quiches? They're easy. You make piecrust, put a crust into each well of a muffin pan, and make a tiny pie out of each. Just mix eggs, milk, a little butter and the other things you would like in them- spinach and chicken or whatnot.

How about crostini? You just slice a big italian loaf of bread (you can use a french loaf) into thin slices, lay a slice of cheese and a little meat onto each, and broil in the oven. (You can make these with almost anything, in any variation- plain garlic ones, like garlic toasts, cheese, olive, ham, prosciutto, so on.)

Some skewers of fruit might be nice.

Depends on your friends and whoever you are going to invite. There are some ethnic choices like Samosa's or Arabic foods that are easy to make, they are fun to eat without the party style cutlery and go well with different drinks. exampls would be chicken kebobs, hammus and bread, or my favorite fried calamari

How about pasta for dinner? Or bbq?

And stuff to nibble on like chicken nuggets, onion rings, pizza, chips.. etc..

When I have parties, we always have actual food with rice for the whole night.. with many dishes of food in food warmers, like meat and stuff... But that takes alot of work..
