  1. ok well keep practicing blowing water out your nose and for your ears get ear plugs they help bunches but the only problem would be that they reduce hearing

  2. OMG! This also happens to me!

  3. Sounds like you're probably flailing your arms when you go around the turn. This will force the water around your head to move more quickly and go into your ears and nose, and push under your goggles. You need to try and flip strait over keeping your arms facing the direction that you were coming from. Rotate around your shoulders (trust me it doesn't hurt). Then when you push off your arms will already be infront of you.

There are instructional videos that you can use to perfect this, and there are also instructors at places like YMCAs that can help you as well.

  4. this happens to me too! I thought I was the only one.

to prevent water from getting in your ears keep poppping them by swallowing, or use earplugs

blow water OUT of your nose

make sure your goggles fit, and that the strap is 25-45 degrees from the eyes. keep your eyes open, if you squeeze them shut it causes a gap between the googles and your eyes letting water in.

  5. try flipping faster and on your back...not on  your side. when you push off the wall after you flip, make sure you have a tighter streamline to help prevent water getting in your ears. (it'll also make you go faster). for the goggles....get a tighter pair. wear a cap as well...it will help them stay on better.
